The BR-12.5M is a Type 1+2 Surge Protective Device (Class I+II) compliant with EN 61643-11 and IEC 61643-1 standards. Featuring high-performance varistors for rapid response time and low protection level without line follow current, this complete device consists of a base part and pluggable module.

• High arresting capacity up to 12.5 kA (10/350μs)
• Visual indication with green and red indicator flags for monitoring protective circuit and varistor functionality

• Recommended for use in Lightning Protection Zones Concept at boundaries of LPZ 0-2 (according to IEC 1312-1 and EN 62305) for equipotential bonding and elimination of transient over voltage from atmospheric discharges or switching processes
• Class B+C surge protector suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings as complete protection devices
• Combination of BR-12.5M is suitable for use in TNS and TT systems
